AMANDA RENEE SPARKS

   Amanda is a 22 year old who has been diagnosed with Arnold Chiarai Malformation, which affects the area where the brain and spinal cord meet.  She was originally diagnosed in 2005, but has had multiple surgeries, a tracheotomy, and sleeps on a ventilator at night.  She also is unable to swallow and is fed through a PEJ tube.

   Amanda has spent the last 14 months in some type of hospital setting, fighting everyday to regain her ability to walk and use fine motor skills as well as attempting to relearn how to swallow.

   The lengthy medical treatment has obviously put a strain on the family’s financial situation. It has adversely affected their ability to maintain their business, which provided the family’s income.  Amanda has recently been dropped by her private insurance company, and she and her family need our help!!!!!!!

   We are asking for donations to assist the family with the overwhelming costs of the specialty treatment that she needs.  Please help us to help Amanda keep up her fight!
